People building better cooling.

Pascal was founded in 2023 by Dr. Adam Slavney, Dr. Jinyoung Seo, and Professor Jarad Mason, based on their work at Harvard University on novel low-pressure solid refrigerant materials. Our founding thesis is simple: efficient, low-emission solid refrigerants must operate at conventional refrigeration pressures to compete on price and reach widespread adoption.

Pascal has raised over $18 million in venture capital and grants to turn that research into fully integrated refrigeration systems. Today, we’re improving system performance, preparing beverage cooler pilots with multinational beverage companies, and developing prototypes for air conditioning, industrial cooling, and data centers.
